This is where many of my paintings come to life, nestled inside our 1840’s Greek Revival farmhouse. The studio is located in the “ell” of our home (pronounced L), an architectural feature common in historic Maine homes.
Historically, the ell connected the main house to the barn, providing sheltered access during long winters and forming the home’s distinctive L shape — the origin of the studio’s name.
